300000 miles

The USA is a mass consumer society, and people buy and shift them away in a very quick cycle. Contrary to my imaginations, Bill(CA) has owned the used HONDA car for more than 10 years. It has more than 300000 miles on it. What a long lasting car! I know Japanese cars are strong and has good performance, but even Japanese people give up keeping it after 100000 miles. Bill(CA) still keeps good company with this old HONDA. Is it true that the car is like a girlfriend for a man? I guess he must value his girlfriend like he has treated his HONDA car with care. However, he is still a single man and searching for the right someone.
